What does it mean to be a scout?

Scouting is a lifestyle. It takes dedication, perseverance, and telekinetic abilities. Okay, maybe it's more like a hobby, but it's one of the best hobbies you can have. Scouting is a way of challenging yourself physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually, and shape your character (#spices). It's about pushing yourself to explore new places, face discomfort, and learning life skills - from making fires to making friends. In the scouting community, both nationally and globally, you are engaged with some of the worlds most extraordinary people. From those who have scaled the toughest of cliffs, peaked the tallest of mountains, sailed the widest of seas, dived the deepest of oceans, hell - even those who've ventured into space. It is a community of the worlds best.

Scouting is one of the most inclusive organisations out there also which welcomes all pronouns, orientations, and colors. With over 54 million participants which span all forms of humankind, everyone can belong.
